Unlike shared experiences, where the atmosphere can feel crowded and impersonal, our private flights ensure that every moment is crafted just for you. For safety, online booking is limited to two passengers, as flight capacity can vary with temperature and conditions. Interested in bringing additional guests? Contact us to inquire about adding up to two more passengers. We frequently have availability that's not shown on our online calendar, including additional flight opportunities, balloon availability, and customized arrangements. Reach out directly to learn how we can help create the perfect experience!
A hot air balloon flight is more than just an activity—it's one of life's truly unforgettable experiences and a bucket-list adventure for people of all ages. We believe something this special deserves to be shared with the people who matter most, which is why every flight we offer is completely private.
Unlike larger operations that combine strangers into a shared basket, your flight is reserved exclusively for you and your guests. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, planning a romantic outing, creating family memories, or simply checking a lifelong dream off your list, you'll enjoy a personalized experience without distractions.
Traveling solo? Consider inviting a friend, partner, or family member to share the journey. Some of the best memories are made together, and a private balloon flight offers a rare opportunity to experience the beauty, wonder, and tranquility of flight with someone special by your side.
The Pilot in Command (PIC) reserves the right to refuse carriage to any passenger who does not meet these requirements or whose participation may compromise safety. All passengers must sign a liability waiver acknowledging the inherent risks associated with hot air ballooning.
Your safety is our highest priority. To ensure a safe and enjoyable flight, all passengers must meet the requirements outlined below. It is your responsibility to review these requirements and notify us of any concerns, medical conditions, or discrepancies before booking.
Accurate passenger information is essential for safe flight planning. All information provided is kept private and used solely for operational and safety purposes. Any inaccurate, incomplete, or undisclosed information may result in modifications to your reservation, denial of boarding, flight delays, or cancellation of the flight if safety requirements cannot be met.
Be able to read, hear, understand, and follow instructions given in English for flight safety purposes.
Be at least 7 years of age and 48 inches tall to safely see over the basket edge. Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the PIC. Please contact us for details.
Be physically capable of:
Standing for up to 90 minutes.
Walking at least 500 feet over uneven terrain.
Absorbing a landing impact equivalent to stepping or dropping approximately 18 inches (about the height of a dining chair).
Be in good health and disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate safely.
Provide accurate passenger weights. Please contact us before booking if the average weight of your party exceeds 225 pounds per person.
Have a parent or legal guardian present if under 18 years of age.
Not be pregnant.
Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment or physical ability at the time of flight.
Individuals with heart conditions, back, neck, hip, knee, or ankle problems, a history of fainting spells, recent surgeries, or any other condition that could affect their ability to safely participate should consult their physician before flying and inform us of the condition prior to booking.
If you have any questions regarding these requirements or your ability to participate, please contact us before making a reservation.
We understand that many of our passengers have been looking forward to their balloon flight for months. Unfortunately, hot air balloon operations are highly weather-dependent, and cancellations are a normal part of flying safely in the Walla Walla Valley.
While we are just as eager as you are to get airborne, the safety of our passengers, pilots, crew members, equipment, and the people and property we may encounter during flight always comes first. Weather and flight conditions are evaluated using many factors that may not be visible or noticeable from the ground. For this reason, all flight decisions are made solely at the discretion of the Pilot in Command (PIC).
The operator may cancel a flight at any time prior to departure for weather, safety, operational, or other reasons deemed necessary by the PIC.
If we cancel your flight:
You will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
You may reschedule your flight at no additional cost.
Deposits and credits do not expire and may be used toward a future booking.
If you choose not to reschedule, you will receive a full refund of all deposits and payments made to the company.
Customer cancellations must be received at least 72 hours before the scheduled flight to receive a full refund.
More than 72 hours before flight: Full refund.
Between 72 and 24 hours before flight: Deposit forfeited.
Less than 24 hours before flight: Full booking amount due.
No-shows: Full booking amount due.
Passengers who are unable to fly due to failure to meet published passenger requirements, failure to provide accurate information, or failure to comply with crew instructions: Full booking amount due.
We strongly encourage passengers to review all eligibility and safety requirements prior to booking.
Hot air ballooning is a unique experience that brings smiles wherever it goes. Relax, enjoy the adventure, and don't be surprised if you become the center of attention both in the air and on the ground.
Wear comfortable, casual clothing appropriate for the season and forecast. Layers are recommended, as morning temperatures can be cool. Closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or hiking shoes are strongly recommended, as launch and landing sites may include uneven ground, wet grass, dirt, or stubble fields.
We recommend eating a light meal before your flight. Flying on an empty stomach is not advised, but avoiding heavy meals, excessive caffeine, and alcohol beforehand can help ensure a more comfortable experience.
Restroom facilities are not available at launch and landing locations, and there are certainly no rest stops in the sky. We recommend using the restroom before arriving at your scheduled meeting location.
You'll enjoy incredible views and photo opportunities throughout the flight. Phones, cameras, and small personal items are welcome, but should be secured at all times while in the balloon basket.
While the flight itself typically lasts about an hour, ballooning is more than just the time spent in the air. Plan on several hours for the complete experience, including setup, pre-flight preparations, the flight itself, landing, pack up, post-flight celebration, and return transportation.
Your pilot and ground crew are there to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Please follow all instructions before, during, and after the flight.
One of the most exciting aspects of hot air ballooning is that every flight is different. Launch sites, flight paths, landing locations, and flight durations can vary depending on weather and wind conditions. That's part of the adventure.
Passenger Participation
Hot air ballooning is a hands-on experience, and passengers are often invited to assist the pilot and crew with simple tasks such as setup, inflation support, or post-landing pack-up. Participation is always optional and guided by the crew, with safety as the top priority. You are also welcome to simply observe, take photos, and enjoy the experience from the basket.
Wake up, put on a smile, and start your day with something incredible! We love sharing the joys of ballooning and so does our crew! If you're looking to meet some fun people, get hands on with hot air balloons, and maybe a wee bit of exercise, reach out about joining our crew!
